Our Mission: Symphonic Music for All!

Our Vision: To create an extraordinary music experience that realizes the potential of our musicians and illuminates the power of collective effort.

Founded in 2016, the Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville is a 501(C)3 not-for-profit volunteer classical music orchestra. Members donate their time and talents to cultivate classical music connoisseurship through education, performance and collaborative programing. Civic Orchestra concerts are free and open to all.

The Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville exists to bring the joy, beauty and power of symphonic music to everyone, especially those in communities that otherwise would not be able to experience a live performance. The Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville will be representative of our community through the selection of music, location of performances and membership within our orchestra. We welcome people of all ages and persuasions to share our love of music!
